𝙑𝙞𝙙𝙝𝙞 𝙥𝙤𝙫:-

He left when Naksh came back. Naksh show me the whole house. Richika was walking with me holding my hands the whole time. She is such a cute girl. Then Naksh took me to living room. There's a lady was sitting. She must be Laksh's mother. Then richika let go of my hand and run to that lady.

She hugged richika then look at me. With a smile. This reminds me of my my mother. I lost my mother when I was only 10. My eyes fill with tears. She came to me and then she surprised me with a hug. This feels so good. I just hug her back without the care of world.

I step back and said,"thank you aunty. I needed this hug." She look into my eyes and said,"not aunty..Mumma... Call me mumma. Laksh and Naksh also call me mumma." I spoke back,"but how can i?"

She said with a warm smile,"why not? You're Laksh wife means my daughter in law and daughter in law means daughter. And it'll also make me happy as I don't have a daughter." I smile but tear escape my eyes. I called her,"Mumma!" She smile and reply,"yes my daughter."

After loosing my mother I never thought I would call someone else mother and feel this type of love. Then she spoke again,"I'm sorry on behalf of my son. He shouldn't have married you forcefully, but once he decided to do something no one can stop him." But he destroy my life.

With anger I said,"what about my father? Why did he kill him?" She look down then up at me with a sympathy look and said," Listen daughter, he have reason to do it." I instantly asked,"what reason that he had to kill my father after betraying him?" She said,"Vidhi he never betrayed your father and i can't say you the reason only Laksh can tell you that."

Like he will tell me. Anyway I can't do anything. Then she said,"atleast I'll make sure nothing happen to you here." I smile. Naksh was watching us and then he spoke,"Bhabi, you'll know everything when time comes and I know it's also hard for you and I'm also sorry for bhai." I said,"it's not your fault.you don't need to apologize."

It's that monster who need to apologize. Naksh spoke again,"bhabi, still please don't be so angry on bhai.He has his reason and when he will feel comfortable. He will tell you himself." I nod my head without saying a word. I know they won't tell me anything so no need to keep asking.

Then richika said,"Dadi, I'm going to play." Laksh mumma nod. Richika came to me and said,"chachi.. Chachi can you play with me later." I said with a smile,"sure." She pull my hand so i lean a little. She gave my cheek a kiss and run upstairs.

Naksh and mumma both look at me in surprise and asked," Did richi just talk to you?" I look confused and i said,"yes, is that wrong?"

Then mumma spoke,"no I mean richi don't talk to strangers. Leave strangers she doesn't even talk to Naksh. She only talk with me and Laksh so we are just surprised." I said,"ohh. But why is that?" Naksh spoke,"she went through so much so she can't open up to everyone." I nod in understanding.

I look at mumma and ask,"aun.. I mean mumma, whose daughter is richika?" Her eye soften a little then she said,"Richi is my son rishi's daughter." I nod and asked,"and where is he?"she look a little sad as she said,"he is no longer in this world." I said,"I'm sorry to hear that." She shook her head and said,"no need to say sorry."

Then I asked,"what about her mother?" She said,"rishi never marry. She was his girlfriends daughter. Who leave after giving birth." I asked in shock,"why would she do that?" Mumma again said,"she gave birth to richi because rishi asked his girlfriend to and in return she takes money."I didn't said anything but how can a lady leave her baby.

She said,"let's leave it at that.It's your second day at our house. Don't think about that too much." I nod. She took my hand and made me sit on couch with her. Naksh also sit with us. We talk for a while. It didn't feel like they are strangers. They gave me the warmth I'm trying to find. That monster took everything from me. I'll never forgive that monster.

Mumma's word took me out of my thoughts as she said,"Vidhi, I know laksh marry you forcefully but you're now his wife and Rawat families daughter in law. So can you do our family tradition." I asked,"what tradition?" She said,"in our family the daughter in law have to make something sweet in her first rasoi."

I smile and said,"just this?" She nod. Then Naksh said,"Bhabi if you don't know how to cook then leave it to your devar." I smile and asked,"You know how to cook." He said with a genuine smile,"No but can learn cooking if my dear bhabi want."

Then mumma look at Naksh and said in a teasing tone,"you never helped your mother but now you're ready to learn cooking for your bhabi." Naksh said,"well, can't let bhabi work." Then we all laugh. I said,"don't worry I know how to cook. I'm a very good cook." Naksh smile.

Time passes I made kheer for everyone and I ate with everyone in dining room. But still there's no appetite. I just lost my family how can I eat. How can a daughter eat just after one day of her father death.

I can't even attend my father's funeral. I know our people will take care of my father's funeral but as a daughter I can't even go. But I suppress this feeling inside.

After eating Richika asked me to play with her so I went to her room to play. We play for like 2 hours when Laksh rush into Richika room. Then richika run to him.

I know I don't want to see that face. I better go so I walk upto them and said to richika,"richika, let's play tomorrow ok." and I left that room. I came back to Laksh room. Which was basically my room too.

After some time Laksh come into the room when I was placing pillow in the middle of the new bad. Then Laksh approach the bed and said,"I have no intention of touching you." This monster really think I'll believe him after what he did. I said,"I can't fully trust you."

He didn't said anything and just slept on the other side. So do I. After sometime I have a nightmare as I always do. I could never sleep peacefully at night but I soon fell asleep I don't know how. I just fell asleep.

I was peacefully in sleep when I felt cold and watery. I sit in bed only to see Laksh holding a bucket. I gave him death glare and I said,"what the hell. Is this how someone wake up a person." He said with a mischievous smile,"you're sleeping peacefully which was unpleasant for my eyes."

This monster. He again spoke,"this is also for kicking me." I again glare at him and he left the room. You monster played with the wrong player. I got out of bed and took a bath. Then I got ready and went down stairs to greet mumma. I met with Laksh papa yesterday night at dinner table but I still don't know how to speak to him. He's also a good man. He praise my cooking.

Then I went to kitchen and mumma was making paratha for everyone. I greet her and asked,"do you need help?" She said," No, I can handle it." As I insist on helping she said,"can you make some curry for everyone. And yes don't make it spicy. Laksh can't eat spicy food." I nod but inside I got a good plan.

I made curry for everyone and plated for everyone and for my beloved husband I added 6 spoonful of chili powder. Everyone sat on dining table and maid served the food. I sat beside Laksh. Everyone started eating and Laksh took at bite of paratha with curry and just after one bite he drink water like crazy.

I bite my inner mouth not to laugh as Naksh asked,"bhai what happened?" Laksh said,"why is the curry so spicy?" Naksh said,"don't be like that. It's not spicy." Laksh said,"it is."

Then Naksh taste a spoonful of curry from Laksh bowl and i thought now what will i do? But to my surprised Naksh look at me gave me a wink and said,"no bhai it's not spicy." Then Laksh taste a spoonful of Naksh bowl of curry.

Now he knew who's work it is. But he didn't said anything and kept eating only paratha. After eating he said in a sweet tone which was suspicious,"vidhi come to our room i need to talk to you." Then he left.

Naksh whisper ,"bhabi don't worry,I'll be your crime partner and if bhai said something come to me. We will beat him together." I laugh and shortly after came back to room where that monster was waiting.

When I enter the room he was eating a chocolate. Then he look at me with those green eyes. He put the chocolate on table and walk towards me. Then he said,"are you a child? What is this childish behavior?" What do you mean mister, you're the one who started it. I said,"is waking someone up by pouring water not childish?"

He said,"I told you, you can't leave happily here and I can't see you living peacefully." This monster, is taking everything isn't enough? That now you aren't even letting me live. He step towards me.

He closer our distance. I step back one by one and finally I was pinning against the wall. He grab my neck. His grip is tighter. It's hard to breathe. His anger was visible in his face. Then he said with a evil smile,"don't you think my hand look good on your throat?"

Immediately I took out a knife that I kept with me incase I'll need it and I put the knife in his throat. He look surprised and I said with a sly smile,"and this knife on yours."
